Another Thank You Note ?

So we recieved a gift froma cousin earlier in the week, I think it came in the mail on Tuesday.  I promptly sent out a thank you note for the gift.  Well, today another part of the gift arrived in the mail from the same cousin.  Should I send another thank you note in the mail or an email explaining that the second half arrived separately but we are very grateful?  I just don't want her to think we only got half the gift from the store.  Thanks
