TTC after 35

Irishgirl

Hey there,

Thought of you this am when I went for my baseline u/s.  My hospital has a satellite where I can go for monitoring so I don't have to drive an hour to Boston. The satellite is at Patriot Place overlooking the Patriot's stadium. I didn't see any players while up in the stirrups (LOL) but I thought of you for 2 reasons- you are back to work now and second, a satellite monitoring center at the Meadowlands would be convenient for you with work! haha

Now I wait for the call to see if I start stims tonight. Hope you are doing well!

Re: Irishgirl

  • Thanks for thinking of me, yes that would be great!  That's especially funny since  your team (I assume) and my team are in the same conference and are arch rivals :)

I am looking forward to your update about the stims and how it's all going!

Things are fine with me, I spoke to my REs office to report CD1 on Monday and we talked about timing for the IVF.  I was going to start the Estrase with my next cycle, but since my cyles are so short (this last one was 22 days I think) I will probably wait until the one after that. I don't want to have to start monitoring while we are still in Training camp, and then go for an ER during 2nd or 3rd week of the season. I know I should be able to go when I want to, but for my stress level, that would not be the best thing. Hopefully we'll be winning and my boss will be in a really good mood.

TTC since 3/2010. Me 41, DH-49. After 3 years, 6 IUIs and several IVFs we have finally have our beautiful baby girl, born on 11/7/13.

  • I hear you on short cycles. I am worried about it being an issue since my last 2 cycles were 23 and 20 days.

I am doing my first stim shot in about 1/2 hour! Baseline was quiet.

    Go Pats! haha
