Sooo what kind of college fund should we set up?

We have the money that's meant for DD college fund sitting in our regular savings right now cause I really don't understand or know what kind of college fund to start.....

you're going to want a 529 plan. see if you can do one through your state. Sometimes the state will give you a tax break if you use their fund.

I looked up 529 info for my state and it's something that looks like what we're looking for but we'll see....

We are going with a 529. Talk to your bank they should be able to help you out.

We are doing 529 and using Upromise to contribute little bits to it on top of the money we are already putting aside. Upromise also has a portfolio option if you want to risk it and potentially make big bucks for your kiddo.?
