I thought the NT scan was at 12 weeks, but not all drs do them routinely. Mine doesn't. They do the quad screen blood test and then only do the NT scan if the blood tests are concerning. And they are totally optional, I didn't do it with DD, and I don't plan to with this one. I don't really care to know what my odds are of having a baby with Downs, because it's not going to change my mind about the pregnancy so why waste the money and the energy worrying since false positives are very common.
Sex is usually found out at your 20 week U/S.
