I wonder??

in 1st Trimester

I went in today and it was a quick and easy appt. My dr wants to see me in 2 weeks. By then I'll be almost 15 weeks....

What do you think we'll be doing? N/T scan? Determine the sex?

I didnt ask, I had a slew of other questions that we discussed.

    I don't think the sex is determinable until week 20...

    I thought the NT scan was at 12 weeks, but not all drs do them routinely.  Mine doesn't.  They do the quad screen blood test and then only do the NT scan if the blood tests are concerning.  And they are totally optional, I didn't do it with DD, and I don't plan to with this one.  I don't really care to know what my odds are of having a baby with Downs, because it's not going to change my mind about the pregnancy so why waste the money and the energy worrying since false positives are very common. 

    Sex is usually found out at your 20 week U/S.
