So, what is new with you? Brag about your TTC, PG, and children here. Photos are always welcome. What have you done with your summer so far? What is new with you? What are the little ones doing this summer?
I am 4 weeks from my due date and ready for this baby. The weather has proved to be quite difficult this summer especially since I am trying to keep a 2 year old entertained indoors but we are making it through. We were able to go on a nice family vacation to WV with other family. But now it is just sticking around the homefront and hoping this baby comes before September!
Well my summer finally started 4 weeks ago and only less than 4 to go we've swam a lot and DS2 has had a ball, he loves his puddle jumper and is not afraid (scary) and actually can not wait to climb into the pool even fully clothed! I always knew the middle child would keep me busy but this boy is a trip and I literally need eyes everywhere. Serena is growing, likes the water too but she keeps trying to drink the pool water! DS1 has had his moments, we have a week of good behavior then he starts the who entitled, self centered behavior you get from teens, you know 'me against the world' and I'll do what I want because parents know nothing (joy).
So yeah lots of fun in our house! Oh and DH and I had a mini date for the first time in what seems like forever over the weekend. It was nice, got my drink on and wasn't hauling a diaper bag (win!).
I pregnant with #2 and due 1/4 (no ticker since TB sucks and I can't update my account). Things have been going great so far. I am feeling good and we will hopefully find out next Wednesday what we are having.
Elena is excited to be a big sister. She goes back and forth on whether the baby is a girl or a boy.
Things are good I have the room ready and just waitting for Garrett to get here now. I have around four weeks left, but I have been having a lot of BH and high BP so he may be here before that. Other then getting things ready for lil man life has been kind of boring. I am hoping to find a new job while I am off because I really don't want to go back to my job I have now. (so if anyone knows of any medical offices that need an office Mnger or anything let me know!)
I'm only 5 days (or less) away from having this baby, and it can't come soon enough. I've hit the miserable stage and the weather is not helping, I'm also so excited to finally know what we're having!
Ry's been at the Y daycamp all summer and is excited that she'll have 3 weeks home with me before school starts, I'm hoping we can squeeze in a few fun things during that time. She is also getting very excited about the baby and is still hoping for a little brother. Can't believe my "baby" is going to be a 2nd grader this year. Just a reminder that time really does fly, and to enjoy them while they're little!

Summer has been good, enjoying spending time with out of town family. Lots of swimming, we are hoping to get DD in swim lessons soon. TTC 2+ years. We are trying to decide between vacation or staycation in the next month or 2. Maleah will be starting preschool next month, she very excited about that. She will also be starting back to dance class soon, she misses it very much!
Brenna just celebrated her third birthday on Monday. We all had so much fun with it. She gets the whole birthday thing, and has milked it all week long. He big party with her friends is on Saturday, and she thinks every day this week is her big party day. She is just so excited. It's their giddy joy that makes having little ones so life enriching for all of the adults who love them. I have giggled more this week than I have all year. She's a trip!
TTC is still not happening. We will stop in October. Then it is on to looking at adoption. One way or another, we will have one more addition to our family. I am excited about that.
I am trying to breathe life into this board again. Lurkers, please post!
Well I'm 28 1/2 wks preg with b/g twins and in my last week of work before having to go out on short term disability. I was at the hospital last Thurs. night overnight for too many BH. They tried giving me fluids and they still didn't stop so the Dr. put me on Procardia. I'm not thinning or dialiating (prob. the only reason why I'm not on bed rest) so that's the good news.. and the babies are doing great even through all of this! DH left for China for work yesterday morning and he will be gone for almost 2 wks. It will be the last time this year he has to go thankfully! So I've been told to take it easy and starting next week, I'll prob. be on here a lot more! lol So talk to ya soon ladies!

Summer has been going well. Alice and I have been spending lots of time together. I ahve been interviewing like crazy trying to find a new teaching jobs. Hoping tomorrow is the interview, need something while I finsih my special ed masters.
I know I am just starting to post here more but this baby is keeping me on my toes. I am going back to work next week and I am dreading it. I have cried about it a few times and I swore I wouldnt do that. I have great care for my little one but seriously getting concerned about the first few days.
Charlotte is now 12 weeks and getting VERY big. She is a pretty good baby and I cant complain. My husband is now working out of town three days a week so I am dreading that but we are hanging in there alone every Wednesday through Friday.
DH and I are TTC for our first baby. We have just finished our first cycle, so now I'm just waiting on AF or not, as well as other signs. I know it isn't likely that we'll get pregnant on our first try, but that runs in my family (for my sister and I both it was my parents first cycle that got them pregnant) so I'm hoping for the best. If not, we'll keep on going at it!
Apart from that, Summer has been talking about babies, thinking about babies...maybe it's a little premature, but we went ahead and switched around 2 of our 3 bedrooms to clear one out for a potential nursery. I think we're just a little excited.
No vacations yet, because DH just finished a masters program at Thomas More College and is at a new job so he's getting to know that. I'm thinking about starting up a masters program at UC but that wouldn't be until next year. Apart from that, same old same old
We are doing really well. LB is growing like a weed, enough to warrent him moving to a twin bed with a railing (he just kept on rolling out of the toddler bed). He is becoming more indepent, especially thru his tumbling class.
We are on our way to adoption this fall, just need some classes and final paperwork. Should happen before the end of the year.
I have been so very insanely overworked and have been working a lot of OT at home in the evenings. I never have time to join you all, but I do read through the posts on here and on FB all the time. Addy's 4 months already and about the sweetest, most happy baby you could ever imagine. Eli and Addy are great together too. Eli is doing dance at Manyet for the summer, but I think he's going to do it in the fall too. He loves it. (I love it too, except for the one mother who very rudely keeps telling her son - his twin sister is in Eli's class - that she's going to find a DIFFERENT activity for him [emphasized just like that]... right in front of my son. Thankfully E is oblivious, but I am not.) Oh and I already have baby fever... don't tell my hubby. He promised we'd talk when Addy is 9ish months... but I wouldn't mind if it was sooner.

I'm 21 weeks...can't believe it! Having a boy and getting really excited for him. I still can't feel him move though, darn placenta's in the wrong place - it should be soon though.
DH and I just got back from Mexico for vacation/babymoon, paradise. Hard to believe next trip to the beach we'll have a little person with us
Other than that, just ready for summer to end. I LOVE hot weather and the sun, but being pregnant makes me want fall and cool weather!
Lexie is 6 weeks already and I cannot believe how quickly she is growing. We threw in the towel on breast feeding and since starting her on formula she is growing like a weed. Thank goodness. I have two weeks left of maternity leave which is great because we're close to depleting the savings we had set aside due to some additional unforseen expenses and I don't want to dip into our other savings. I'm also ready to get back to work even though I will miss being home with Lexie everyday. Other than that things are just great with us.
