1st appt yesterday!

I had my first appt yesterday and I guess it went well. I gave blood and urine and filled out paperwork. Then I talked to a midwife and got a pelvic exam (which I did NOT know was going to happen... oh well). But the best part was we got to hear the heartbeat! It was probably THE coolest thing I have ever heard! No ultrasound, but I guess I'm doing a combined screening test next week and I'll get one then. I heard that little whooshing sound and it became more real. There really IS something in there! So excited!

    Yay for a good appt :)  I also was caught off guard by the pelvic exam.  One would think i'd remember from my first pregnancy but I forgot.
