Flying Solo

Wish me luck. I am taking DD up to Philly on Wednesday to visit my parents. This will be the first time some of my extended family will get to meet her. It will also be my first solo trip with because DH can't get off work( he's really bummed about being away from his baby girl for five days). We flew with her in April and she did great but tht time she had her own seat. This time I'm going to have her sit on my lap, shorter flight and I think it will be easier. Need good vibes that the trip goes well.

Good luck!  B did even better on his second trip than he did on his first.  I hope you have the same experience.

And enjoy showing LO off to everyone.  Philly is a great city.

I just had M on my lap for 7 hours transatlantic, and 1 hour domestic.  It's not that bad - at least they can stand up on your lap, play with the seat in front, flirt with people, etc. Bring a carrier though, in case you need to go to the bathroom. It's awkward, but doable that way. (I'm not sure how long a flight it is, if it's only short, then you may just hold it until you get your stroller back.)
