Is VIP FF Worth It?

So, I'm debating whether or not I want to sign up for the VIP membership after my free trial runs out and I was wondering if it's really worth it.

I know that the basic won't change the colors on the calendar, but does it still color code your chart?  Also are you still able to chart the "specifics" on the basic membership?  Are there any other perks to the VIP that are really worth it IYO?

    The basic doesn't show any color coding or specifics right on your chart. You can still add them in, but you have to click "View All Data" to see what you put in, and it shows in more of a date, list of symptoms type of format, not the nice graph format with color coded blocks on your chart that the VIP will give you.

    You also can't do a chart overlay to see all your charts together in the basic.

    That said, the basic is FREE, and I will probably continue to use it until I've been TTC at least 6 cycles. No sense buying a year's worth of VIP if we get lucky in the first 6 cycles of trying.

    JMO.

    I bought the VIP but only when it was "on sale" like it is now on FB. I am halfway into my 4th cycle so to me it wasn't really a waste. I like having the VIP features.

    My VIP trial was about to end so I just recently upgraded myself.. I think it's worth it for sure.. especially if you don't want to lose all the extras as mentioned above.  I think there's a link in FF that shows you a chart with the differences between the two.

    I let my free trial expire, so I had one cycle with VIP and one cycle with basic.  Mid-way through my third cycle charting I caved and bought VIP again when they offered a discounted rate.  I think the basic service offers a lot and it is great, but I really, really missed being able to see all my symptoms in the color block chart.  It is a lot easier for me to spot trends that way.  In my opinion, yes, it is worth it.
