If you use e-mealz

Are you really happy with it? I was just looking into getting it but wondering how healthy the meals are. I know they have different meal plans but what about just the basic family plan (something my dd will actually eat), is it overall pretty healthy? Also, do save money using the meal plans? TIA!

Re: If you use e-mealz

  • I havent "USED" it yet, but I am signed up and have 3 weeks in front of me.

I would say out of the 7 meals, I could get my whole family to eat 3-4 which is pretty good. It appears to save us money if we stuck with it. We spend $120 a week and this would take us down $80-90 and $10-20 for extra's so maybe sabve $80 a month.

I am not sure how healthy it is, some of the meals looks like we eat better now and some of the meals it looks they are better for us.

I am interested to see, after I have done a month what its like.

  • I chose the 7 meal low carb plan. The low carb plan has a lot more vegetables and protein. You can always add a roll if you want. I like the 7 meal plan because I just eliminate 2-3 of the meals that don't sound as good. We like the meals so far. Im not sure about getting kids to eat them. Ds1 is in a picky toddler mode.

  • We used it for a year and the meals were delicious!  I thought they were pretty healthy as I would substitute some things, but not many.  I think we saved around $600/month on groceries, because we switched from Target to Walmart.
