newborn photographer /in home nanny

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I mainly stick to my monthly board.  We live in Harford country and are relatively new to the area (thanks BRAC!) so we are still meeting people.  Does anyone have any recommendations for a newborn photographer who will come to your house to do photos in the first week or two?  I have been looking on Google, but thought personal recommendations would be a great addition.

I also am able to work from home most days, so instead of daycare we are thinking about hiring a nanny or someone who will come to our house to watch the baby when I have to go back to work.  I would still be able to breastfeed on the days that I do work from home.  Anyone have any recommendations for a service or group in the Harford area that offers this?  Where do I even begin to find a reputable person to watch my child?  This is our first child, so we are new to all of this!

We loved Anni Oh photography, she's in Harford County too. Her website is www.anniohphotos.com (sorry can't make it clicky, im on my phone). She came to our house when Sydney was a week or so old and we also used her for one year photos. She also has a Facebook page if you're on there. Love, love, love her work, I can't say enough good things about her.

I don't know of any nannies unfortunately but I highly recommend April Cain for newborn photography. She is a friend of mine and does amazing work. She took our family photos for our Christmas card last year. She lives in Annapolis but travels and is from Harford County so has no problem with photo shoots up here. GL!

Thank you for posting. I just logged in to see if I could find info on NB photographer also. 

I was also wondering if it is standard to get all the digital proofs or if that is something that is an extra charge.

The photog I posted offers various packages, some include a select # of digital images, we opted to buy all of them. It was too hard to chose just a few!

I used care.com to find my nanny. With the service they do a standard background and ssn check. There is also sittercity.com.

I have an 11 day old and had his newborn photos taken at 7 days old at our house.  We used Twiddle Dee Photography https://www.twiddledeephotography.com/blog/  Denise did my son (Brody's) photos...he is the first set on her blog.  He also did my newphew Jake's photos, my SIL's sisters daugher Khilee's photos and my friends son Roman's photos.  She does amazing work!  If you contact her let her know Stephanie sent you!  With my package I get all of my photos on a CD to print as I want.  She was amazing with the babies and I can do nothing but praise and highly recommend her!

We have only seen our 3 sneek peak photos so far!  I cant wait to see the rest!!

I am not any help with the in home nanny, but, for photographer we use Amy Ling. We used her for my daughters newborn pics, holiday pics and most recently my DD's 1 year pics!
