Who is the hiker whose in this group?

I am looking for the girl who was gonna go hiking with her Grandfather I think it was and family...I had a few questions for you as far as hiking and above and below sea levels etc.  It seemed like you were fully knowledgeable and was hoping you could answer a few questions :) Thanks!!!

  • (It wasn't me but) I'm gonna watch this too as we're going to CO in a few weeks and I think up Pike's Peek and hiking somewhere else.

  • Be careful with Pike's Peak.  If you're driving or taking the railway, just make sure you have lots of water with you and you should be fine.  And take it easy walking around the top.  The summit is 14,000+ ft.

It wasn't me, but I remember who you are talking about. I can try to find the post.  We hiked the precepice trail in Acadia National Park, ME, last month ( I was about 8 weeks).  I didn't have too hard of a time but make sure to bring water.  I also know the elevation wasn't near as high as some of these hikes in CO though.

  • I spent a lot of time hiking with my first pregnancy..

I was stil snowshoeing at 8 months! :)

I'm not to sure how high above sealevel we were but some of the cliffs and hills i climbed were probably at least 2 storeys high if not higher

If your body is use to it, you should be fine.. just take it slow and easy :)
