I find using a nursing cover to be a real pain but I don't feel like I'm good enough yet to do it without a cover without making a spectacle of myself. [Poll]

I use a cover ocassionally but a light blanket more often. I have NIP without anything if my shirt can cover me. DD is getting grabby and distractible so I doubt there will be many more times without!

With my DD I always would cover. I asked my DH if he would have a problem with me not covering with this one and he said no, so I will probably do more uncovered this time around than covered. Mainly because it's just easier.
My Book BlogA Lucy, a lost tube, two lost babies, and another on the way!
If I'm in really close quarters with strangers I'll use one (bench style at a restaurant for example) also if I'm in church or somewhere more conservative. Otherwise no cover, it's just a recipe for disaster. She likes to wave it around.

I do a nursing tank/tshirt combo. I feel relatively covered up with that combo which is good bc LO would flip if I tried to put something over her face, and to be honest I don't blame her.

This. I use the undercover mama nursing tanks and a shirt that is loose enough to easily pull up. I also use the shirt to cover the top portion of the breast. I used a cover until DD was about 4mos when she decided that it was no longer okay. I was super nervous at first because I wanted so bad to be modest but it was getting warmer and I don't blame DD for not wanting to be covered up.
Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
It took until DS1 was 2.5 months before I felt comfortable with nursing in public at all. Before then, it took awhile to get him latched, etc, so I wasn't comfortable with it.
I've also used a ring sling or a beach towel as a cover when I had over-the-top clothing on. You guys will get there!
I love my bebe au lait nursing cover. The rigid neckline makes it easy to see DD. It also makes it a little more breatable. I hate using a regular blanket. It only works if DD doesn't move and stays latched perfectly, imo.
My motto is that if I wouldn't show it while not nursing then I won't show it while nursing. I also have enormous size f boobs with gigantic aereolas to match. It is really hard for me to nurse modestly with out a cover. From getting latched to her deciding to pull off without notice, I just wouldn't feel comfortable not using one.

This. The only time I use my cover (an Udder Cover) is when I'm nursing while wearing her in a carrier, that way I'm still hands-free to do whatever with my older girls.

DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)
This! I sometimes use an A&A blanket and find it easier than my nursing cover though.
