Push and walk

Is anyone using one of these? LO is pulling herself up on things and wants us to hold her hands so she can "walk" around the house. I was thinking of getting her something she can push around the house like the FP Stride to Ride Dino, but I didnt know if it would be worth it so early in the standing phase.

Does anyone have something like this? Do you like it? Is LO able to use it or is it something for later down the road?

TIA

at our shower.  i set it up the flat way a few months ago to help him learn to sit up.  now i have it standing up and he sits and plays with it.  he doesnt pull up on things yet so i dont know how useful the toy will be later but im sure we'll be using it for a while.

  • Loading the player...
  • We have the Playskool Walk n' Ride.  Jackson pulls up on all the furniture, but hasn't pulled up to the walk n ride yet.  I really think that the wheels turn too fast, if they had some sort of resistance he would be more stable.  He LOVES to play with the gear shifter and other toys on it though. lol
I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.
  • We have this Fisher Price one:

He pushes it around from the front on his knees and pulls himself up from the back of it (when we stabilize it) plus he likes to sit and play the different instruments on the front.

We have this, too, and she loves it.

We have this one too. He's just starting to pull up and tried it once with this and it flipped. He still loves the toys on it though so we also just try to stabilize it some. His DC has a much sturdier one made by Chicco that seems pretty good for pulling up on.

  • We got the FP Dino over a month ago & DS loves it. His toes just touch the ground now & he is starting to push himself backward, lol. Usually I push him forward on it. He now knows he needs to hold the handle bars.

He also uses it in the walking position. I just put my hand on his back for support & he holds on & walks forward, pushing it along. It's really cute.

  • We have the Radio Flyer Walker wagon. It has some built in resistance but LO is still a little young for this. He takes two steps and then falls. Maybe in a month or two it will be better
