Second child?

What do you need to buy for the second if you still have all the stuff from the first?

(Not finding out if it's a girl or boy and we have a bunch of unisex stuff from DD.)

All we bought were some diapers and a few new onesies (mostly because I couldnt find a lot of the newborn stuff we had with #1). We hardly had to buy a thing, even though we had one of each (first was a surprise, so we had plenty of unisex baby stuff).?

We need to buy some stuff because we were lucky to get a lot of stuff for #1 from friends - however it was very (3rd or 4th generation) hand-me-downs.

 

Our dog destroyed our PnP....

 

 So far we need a bath tub, breast pump, PnP, sling (didn't use/need one last time but will to chase a toddler), bottles, diapers, clothes (different seasons and maybe sexes?) and I think that's it - OH bassenette.

We only needed a couple of replacement crib sheets, a new monitor (we were still using #1s in her room, plus it broke shortly after #2 was born anyway), and a new crib mattress (there was nothing wrong with our old one, but on the recommendation of a couple of SIDS organizatins, I chose not to reuse it).  Everything else we already had, especially since DD #1 was out of the crib and not using the stroller anymore.

Diapers, pump and double stroller. Actually we had to buy a few outfits since he girls were born in opposite seasons.

 

I bought a ton of stuff because as MH says I am spoiled. So we bought a lot of stuff and more clothes.

Clothes (I have a boy and am expecting a girl).  A wrap (didn't like the sling with DS).  hmm.  I think that's it. Oh - pacifiers.  I got some free bottles (playtex had some promotion and I mostly BF anyway).  I'm not going to bother with any kind of sleeping thing b/c I'm sure she'll just sleep with us the way DS did.

We moved DD#1 out if the nursery and made a new room for her, so everything that goes along with that

Otherwise, diapers,wipes (we use a ton w/ 2 babies), replacement pump parts (membranes, tubing, power plug), nursing bras, soothies, milicon, duble stroller and new boppy- mine looked like a flat tire.

I have a boy, and expecting a girl this time around, DS gets to keep his furnitures, so we had to get new ones for the baby, new bedding, and lots of girl clothes,but we are reusing everything else.
