OK...question #2 from me tonight.
I'm trying to get my supply up, so my LC said to make sure I pump at least 8 times a day.
So, I'm adding in nursing (via the nipple shield). I'll nurse for about 30 mins, burp/settle DD for 10-15 mins, and then pump for 30 minutes.
Would you count this as 2 "sessions" or 1?

Re: Counting pumping sessions to reach that "8 times a day" question
I'd also count it as 1 (and I had similar issues and always counted those sessions as 1 in the beginning).
I love your LO's name - one of my girls is named Corinne, as well:)
1 session?
Well, fvck.
BFP #3 via cancelled IUI ~ C (2lb 3oz; HELLP) 5/16/11
BFP #4 via the natural (free!) way ~ E (8lb 11oz) 9/13/12
I am also doing this routine to try to get our LO back to her birth weight; my lactation consultant and pediatrician call it a 'Triple Feeding' (= one session). I'm doing ~10 minutes nursing on each sides; 20- 25 ml of donor milk and then 10 minutes of pumping (which if I get any milk, I feed her at the next session).
So far, it's working! Baby is gaining weight and I think my milk is finally coming in. Hoping we can discontinue it after baby's 2 week appointment, because it's a lot of work! But worth it : )
