Hi, I'm wanting to do some craft projects with my daughter's friend but she's allergic to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and milk. Is there a central place that I can find allergy information for things like elmer's glue? Playdoh? I'm a bit nervous about hidden ingredients ever since I wanted to make bird feeders with them (I was going to use sunbutter) and I found out that the bird seed DH bought has egg in it. I was checking for nuts. Yikes.

Re: allergy info for craft supplies?
google will be your best bet on this one. I'd just run a search on the brand you plan to buy and the allergen list and see what pops up.
And- what an awesome friend you are for checking all of this! Lots of people don't think about craft supplies containing allergens. Maybe ask the little girls' mom for advice- she may have researched some safe brands already or would be willing to send safe craft spplies (some of the safe alternatives aren't cheap).
Thanks!
