OK so according to OB I will be 13 weeks this week... Perinatologist I will be 14 weeks... ME still freaking out that everything will be ok. I am having a hard time turning off that voice inside my head that says... "you know maybe next time this will not be ok... you need to prepare yourself." We don't have an appointment until a week from Tuesday. The last ultrasound everything looked great... baby was moving... had a great heartbeat... ::sigh:: I just want to feel "comfortable" being pregnant... I think I am driving my husband nuts.
thanks,

Re: when did you start to feel "comfortable" with pregnancy?
It's a gradual thing. I was a nervous wreck up until about 13 weeks, and then started to relax a little to be out of the first tri. When I could consistently get the h/b on doppler at about the same time, that helped. Then when I could feel baby kicking regularly--like about 18 weeks onward, that's a big help. I think we managed to buy our first baby things at about 20 weeks, so that was a big milestone. Passing viability at 24 weeks made me a little more comfortable, too.
But like Ocean says, part of me is still waiting for the other shoe to drop. This is just never going to be one of those effortless pregnancies like women who have never been through a loss get to have. But it does get better.
I started to feel more comftorable once I was able to feel the babies move on a regular basis. I still worry though about ridiculous things, I think since we all have been on the other side we know what could happen. I just take it day by day. I also drive my husband crazy, don't worry he will get used to it; mine has or at least he doesn't tell me I am crazy he just makes me feel better.

After my NT scan at 12.5 weeks I felt tons better. ?I try to stay positive and enjoy every single day of this pregnancy. ?The chances are that everything will work out so I just keep the faith. ?
?GL!??
I was thinking about this this weekend..
I am 12 weeks today and I do thank God I am.. but I still feel like something could be wrong..
I bought a doppler but have yet to find the h/b so that doesn't help..
I think once I have my u/s at 14 weeks then I will feel better.

Baby #3 Born April 2009
Baby #4 due date February 2015
I'm still not totally comfortable, but it's definitely getting better. I'm starting to feel movement more regularly and that's helpful.
Hope you start to feel more at ease soon!
