When did you get your first period?

I've been EBF for 7 weeks, and I just started the pill around week 6. This morning I woke up, and it appears I may have my period already! I don't think it's PP bleeding anymore, I really haven't bled or spotted for at least a week now. 

Anyone else BFing and get their period back this early? I was hoping to get a longer break!

    I was 10 months when I had mine. 

    Are you on the mini pill?  I was on the mini with no problems until 12 months.  After that I started on the pill OrthoLo, which worked great for me before pg, but this time I started having a period every 2 weeks!  My doc said that sometimes on low hormone pills the body gets confused and cycles get shorter- she put me on the regular pill and everything was fine.

    The mini pill can cause breakthrough bleeding.  I would still mark it on a calendar just in case but if you're on the mini pill it may not actually be a period.  Only time will tell.

    I started the mini pill at 6wks PP.  Had spotting at 8wks PP and shortly after I realized my supply was dipping so I stopped the mini pill.  Didn't have my first AF til 7mos.  I'm charting for BC and still haven't ovulated though.

    Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!

    December which was 2 months after my son was born. But haven't gotten it for along time.

    I still have yet to get my period and DS is almost 9 months old. I am Breast feeding and on the depo shot.

    I got my period at 5 weeks PP while EBFing and still BFing my older daughter too. I've had it every month since then. It happens.

    I got it at 16 weeks while EBF and have gotten it every 28 days since :(

    I got mine at 5 and a half months, while EBFing. Two days before Christmas, joy.  Since then it's been settling into normal cycles for me (around 33-34 days.)

    I wasn't on any sort of BCPs, either.
