1st Birthday Party tips....

any advice for those that went through it recently?? i want LO to nap before the party so hopefully he will be not cranky and awake...

i will get plenty of wipes, change of clothes, food and water for LO, diapers of course .etc

ANY OTHER TIPS??

IT will be mostly adults there..

    I'd recommend doing the cake early on (like if the party starts at 3, cut it by 5) so that those who need to leave can do so.  I just attended a 1st b-day party where they were just starting to grill 3 hours into the party.  I felt rude leaving before the cake but it was just too long.

    Try not to stress - relax and enjoy your baby's 1st birthday:)
