No cramping, but....

I've seen several posts about cramping and I understand that to some extent, this is normal. I, however, would not describe what I'm feeling as cramping. I have an awareness, I guess, of my abdominal area. It doesn't hurt, but I would describe it as uncomfortable. Sometimes I feels more like pressure, and sometimes more like a pinching. I have not had any spotting or anything. I have my first real prenatal appt on Monday, so I'm definitely going to talk to the OB about it, but in the meantime, I'd like to know if anyone is experiencing anything similiar. This has been going on for about as long as I've known I was pregnant.

  • I have the same thing going on but with some uncomfy pain i guess. Hard to discribe more like a discomfort feeling. My appt is also Tuesday so i'll let you know how it goes. Good luck and congrats :)

  • Every once in a while I get it, I think of it as short term cramping since I'm so used to horrible cramps every month.  It's completely normal and is just your uterus growing to accomodate the baby.  The only time to be worried is if it starts happening in a pattern.  Like every 5 minutes and lasting for a couple minutes.  Then it can be a sign of preterm labor if you're far enough along.
