? about diaper fit

We are using pockets and AIOs for our little guy.  It seems like, around the waist, that is gapes a bit in the front, but the elastic around the back seems tight - to the point where it leaves a little pink indentation on him.  It goes away and he doesn't seem uncomfortable, but am I doing something wrong.

I notice it more on a couple brands and not on others.  Thanks!

That's how ours fit.  I think the back is supposed to super tight to help keep in poosplosions. The fronts don't have to be as tight because the urine goes down and is wicked away.
