HCG lvl 87 at 4 wks 5 days

I'm roughly 4 days late. I'm not 100% sure when my last lmp was. I took a digital hpt and it came out positive. I had bloodwork done on wensday. my doctor said it was 87 which may be just a very early pregnancy. this number seems really low to me. she is sending me to get more bloodwork on Friday to test again. I won't know the results until Monday. I'm really worried because the number seems very low. Any one else experience numbers like this?

My friend is about 5 weeks prego and her hcg is 91. Her doc said it should be around 1000, but I just read your number doesn't really matter it just matters that it doubles in 72 hours.

The levels drastically increase in early pregnancy. As the pp said, they double every 48 hours until they hit 6,000 . . . then it takes 3-4 days to double.

Hcg levels vary widely, but the acceptable range for 4 weeks is 5-426, 5 weeks is 18-7,340 . . . as you can see there are drastic differences for each pregnancy.

HPTs detect anything above 25 for the really sensitive ones and 50 for the non-sensitive ones. I had a gf that didn't get a BFP until she was 7.5 weeks pregnant . . . she has a healthy 15 month little girl.

I think you are just fine.

Thank you for the encouragement. We had been trying for almost a year and this is our first. Just praying all goes well.

I was 85 after the first one when I was 4w6d.  It can start low, just as long as it doubles every 48 hours, you are good!

I seem to have low betas with all of my pregnancies. This is my third and I wrote down my numbers for my previous 2.

I had a blood test on Friday and I must of ovulated really late, but I am assuming I was only 11 PO. It was only 25

At 4 weeks it was 80

At 4 weeks 4 days 280.

They are increasing, but I don't have crazy high numbers like others. It is all normal though.
