That babies do it too! My dogs and my mom's dog are famous for collecting shoes and putting them in a pile as well as chewing on them. I don't know if my daughter has seen them do this and has picked up this bad habit from them but she does it too! Her favorite thing to do is chew on my flip flops.... And she will grab as many as she can get her hands on and make a pile of them. We now have to keep all shoes in one spot and create a "road block" so she can't get to them. lol.

C is obsessed with my shoes too, especialy for chewing! I keep going back and forth between worrying what I've picked up on the soles walking everywhere and going 'eh, he's happy for 15min.'

And my friend's daughter (20mos) wants everyone to wear shoes all the time. If someone takes their shoes off and she sees they're barefoot, she brings your shoes over to you and tries to put them on.

My son LOVES my flip flops. Mommy says, "EWWW, no, GROSS!" and he just laughs. I can't just chuck my shoes at the door anymore, I have to put them in the closet.

Same here..  DD loves it when the flip flops are out.  Ick!  haha

My CAT has recently decided that crocs taste lovely.  She has chewed up 3 pair in the past month!  That's EXPENSIVE!!  So frustrating.

Same here...only with DS though. The dog could care less about the shoes.

At Gymboree... forget the toys, slides, tunnels. He goes running for the shoe cubbies!

I scattered toys all over the living room floor yesterday in hopes that she would remember that she had them and stop playing with the shoes and everything else that is not hers but no such luck.
