Burlingame Mother's Club or San Bruno Mother's Club?

I am a first-time mom due in September with a baby boy, and I'm looking to join a mother's club near where I live (Millbrae).  I've found info online about both the Burlingame Mother's Club and the San Bruno Mother's club, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experiences with either (or both) to share!  Have you had/heard anything positive or negative?  Is the club geared toward or suited for certain types of moms or personalities? Thanks so much!Amy

Re: Burlingame Mother's Club or San Bruno Mother's Club?

  • I'm part of the Mother's Club a bit South (San Carlos / Belmont), and I think it's pretty good.

Very diverse because there are SO many families in the club, but very respectful.

Definitely a good source for advice, as well as local reference. Also a great place to acquire kid gear.

Our club has social events (mom's night outs as well as family events), play groups (which I can't really take advantage of since they're more tailored to the SAH crowd), but primarily an online forum/mailing list.

I can't guarantee the Burlingame.San Bruno one is like it, but if it is, I think it's worth it.

  • I have heard great things about the San Bruno mothers club. A really nice group of mothers, down to earth. etc

  • I have also heard good things about San Bruno. I live on the upper peninsula too and there are a few nesties that regularly meet up at parks in the area. PM me if you are interested in joining us!
