Changes in supply before AF shows?

My supply seems to have dipped over the past few days.  I've also had huge cravings and *TMI alert* more discharge than usual.  I've been wondering if I'll start flowing soon.

I know y'all have said supply drops with AF - did you see it drop before she showed?

Yeah. I do notice it drop before she arrives. For at least a couple days. However that is difficult for me to tell right now since I got an IUD and am having a near constant period for the last month Hopefully that fixes itself soon!!!

All of this happened to me right before I got mine for the first time a couple of weeks ago.  My advice?  Have supplies on hand.  I started mine at 11:00 pm and had nothing!  Had to run to the gas station lol!

I juuust got my first PP period the day before yesterday.  For 3 or 4 days before that LO was nursing like crazy (newborn style) and craaaabby!  It didn't dawn on me until I got my period that the poor kid was hungry because my supply dipped.   I ate 2 bowls of oatmeal every day since and it seems to be back up now and I'm not sure if it was the oatmeal or just the normal course of things.

Thanks all.  I first noticed it dipping from my pumping yesterday - and since B didn't finish his last bottle at daycare I had that to supplement his bedtime nursing session.  Tonight I pulled out about 1.5 oz from my pump session to supplement tonight's bedtime nurse and he sucked it right down.  He also bit me 2x during that nursing session (first time for biting - ouch!) and I think it was because he wasn't getting much.

I eat a bowl of oatmeal every morning, but maybe I'll try some fenugreek for the short term.

Good call on the supplies - I have some here at home but I need to put some back in my purse and bring some into work.  If she's coming I hope she just comes soon so we can get it over with.
