    I'm madly in love with my Hoover - Max Extract 77 Carpet Cleaner!!!! Does multiple terrain (carpet, hardwood, pergo, tile) and has the upholstery attachment. It also takes the regular detergent which I prefer over the "pro" stuff. Not only is it cheaper but it cleans better. 

    I think Best Buy has them on sale right now. Walmart also has good prices on 'em.
