Pregnant after a Loss

Miami Animal Police

PSA to all my SAL girls...

This is probably not a good show to watch while pregnant.  I've been crying multiple times per episode and wanting to bring every single animal they've shown on here home.

I have a feeling my husband would divorce me if he came home to me, our two dogs, a new baby and several dozen new pets no matter how much they needed me :-)

Re: Miami Animal Police

  • I had to stop watching it a long time ago.  It's just too intense.

  • I would be the crazy cat lady! My DH would leave me because I wanted to bring all the kittens home...

  • I can not watch any shows like that, I cry and cry.  That was even when I wasn't pregnant.  I feel so sad for the poor animals.
  • Yeah, we always watch Animal Planet and I love all the cop shows (Animal Precinct, Animal Cops Houston, etc) but they are getting harder to watch without tissues in hand.

I would totally be Crazy Cat Lady if DH didn't control me - and he's a huge animal person too, but we've put a limit of 2 cats max.

  • It's really bad when you actually live in the city where they are rescuing the animals (Detroit Animal Cops) and you recognize the places where they take them.  It is so tempting to just go get them and bring them home and love them.

Unfortunately, DH has said no to any more "special needs" animals.  Our 2nd cat was abandoned by his mom and we took him in.  We've now spent over $5K on him because of his bad health!
