WTF Frosted Mini Wheats

It's July 20th, is it not?  There was just a Frosted Mini Wheats "first day of school" commerical on.  What's the rush????  If I see that "most wonderful time of the year" Staples commercial I'll lose it.

I saw this and had to laugh. I sent MissNikki a text last night telling her how much Ashton loves FMW.

Oh and here school starts in 2 weeks for some counties.

So odd.  What is the benefit of that to the school system I wonder? 

Yeah, we start after labor day, too. But I imagine that starting on 8/1 means getting out of school at the end of April or beginning of May. My DD's school didnt get out until June 14th this year!

Right but she'll go back in September, right?  It's not like you get more time off for getting out and started back up early.  It's probably because that's how it always was for me, but I'd rather have July and August off. 

Plus it's still hot as balls in August.  The kids are melllltinnnnggg

Oh, right- she's back in school in Sept. Not more or less time than other places, just later out and later start  

And holy god, talk about hot! Today we have a heat index of 120 degrees. In MN. We can't get a break! It's either MinneSNOWta or MinneSAUNA.

 Ugh I know it, Boston is in the beginning of a heat wave too.  Heat index tomorrow predicted to be 105+.  Insane for us!

Our first full day is 8/8. It's early, but now we get a full week for fall and spring break and two weeks for the winter holiday. Plus a bunch of other holidays. Oh and we start so early because we have 12 snow/weather days built in.

I also hate how it's July and they're phasing summer items out and getting coats and winter stuff in.  Who needs that shlt right now?
