My son will be 10 months this week and still can't drink out of a sippy cup! I have tried a 100 different types and all he does is bite the nipple part. Anyone else have a LO like this? How did you teach them to drink from one? It seems so similar to a bottle, I don't understand why he is having such a hard time...

We did the straw too. It drives my husband crazy because he thinks the straw is messier but I think it's a lot more convenient.
We are in the same boat. DD is almost 10 months old and I've been trying to give her a sippy since 7 months. Her pedi some kids never take a sippy and just drink out of a regular cup. She said there is no reason that a kid needs to drink from a sippy except it makes our life as a parent easier (you don't have to be there holding the cup so they can drink).
I tried one with a straw but it was really hard to suck out of. I'm not sure if it is worth trying a different straw one or not. I'm kind of over trying out different sippy cups!
Daycare is SO exhausting!

Our LO isn't great with a sippy either, but he likes to drink out of a regular cup (it's messy, but he loves it) and he also uses a regular straw.
