  • That's disgusting.  He admitted she said no and kept having sex with her.  Whatthefuck does her BPD have to do with anything?!?

And even if she was promiscuous does her sexual history give men free passes to rape her as well?

Ugh, I'm pissed off.  What she went through is terrible, her rapist is a psychopath, and nothing is being done legally.   Terrible, terrible, terrible.

however long the night, dawn will break.

  • the fb thing seemed weird to me as well.

i mean, it seems like it should be an open and shut case considering she has two forms of written evidence where he admits she said no and yet he continued??

The letter he wrote her alone after the incident shows that a) he knew he raped her, b) he was worried word would get out, and c) he's raped other women in the past. That letter alone should be enough to press charges on him. The whole FB chat was ridiculous, and if it was even used in court it could backfire on the victim because she could be accused of entrapment. Please tell me this happened in a small, hick town where the detective inherited her position from her uncle-brother and wasn't actually voted into office by anyone. Otherwise, I'm beginning to lose faith in the justice system.

I think a note + the info filed with the rape kit would at least count for something. If he got in a room with a cop who was questioning the note he wrote her and how violently she was attacked, I am confident he would dig his own grave.
