DH is out of town again and J is STILL teething (working on tooth #8) so my mom offered to keep him overnight last night to give me a break. Anyways, he went to sleep at 6:15, slept all night until 6:30 (he's been waking at 5 for me), didn't even wake to eat like he normally does around 10 AND he took 2 1.5 hour naps for her! Ugh...I mean I'm sooo, so thankful (and lucky!) to have gotten a night to myself but man that makes you feel even more guilty, like I'm doing something wrong!
Re: Speaking of kids behaving better for someone else...
Good to know it's not just my kid! And yes...a whole new woman today...it's amazing what a little extra sleep can do for you.

It's so true! When we were visiting my mom last month she insisted on Kyva sleeping in her room with her, which was nice so that we could have a break and sleep in a bit. The latest she has EVER slept in for us was like 9, and that was once and we thought it was a miracle. Usually it's more like 6:30 or 7. One morning with my mom she slept in...until 11:15!! I was like, -->
For a teething machine, you're DS is an awesome sleeper!
If DS woke up at 5AM, but STTN, I'd be thrilled!
