Please recommend your child's dollhouse.

My parents are going to buy one for DD's birthday, and she told me to find one on Amazon that we like for $100 or less.  There are so many.  Help!

Does anyone have this one?  It has great reviews, but only 8 of them.  I like that it's wooden and the price is right...

Fisher Price Loving Family Grand Dollhouse

She absolutely LOVES IT!  She received it as a Christmas gift and still plays with it each day.  She has accumulated quite a few of the room sets between the holidays and her birthday.  It has held up very well and I feel that it is reasonably priced for what you get.

DD has the Loving Family dollhouse, she barely touches it.  What she LOVES is her Melissa & Doug castle.  I got it on Amazon for Christmas for around $65.  She uses her small disney princess dolls, strawberry shortcake dolls, playmobil dolls with it.

We have the KidKraft Savannah dollhouse. The girls love it, and so does L. I like the KidKraft ones because they fit Barbie doll sized dolls as well, and that's what the girls are into now......

Also, you can't go wrong with KidKraft - their customer service is FANTASTIC!!! They will replace things no questions asked......

We don't have that kid kraft one but have a similar kid kraft one that we ALL love.

I don't have a dollhouse yet (umm, I mean DD doesn't have one yet), but I absolutely cannot wait until it's time for us to buy a dollhouse!  That being said, I distinctly remember being really disappointed when my Barbies couldn't stand up straight in my dollhouse.  So I think it's a great point that if you want a toy that will be used for years to come, get one that can accomodate Barbies.  And even if you are anti-Barbie (not saying you are, but lots of women seem to be), Barbies will likely creep into your home anyways, so you might as well have the right dollhouse.
