Not a big deal to me, I pretended to nurse my dolls when I was little (around 6) b/c my godmother was BF and she kept me in the afternoons so I saw her BF M-F.
I think it's a waste of money but it may encourage girls to BF when they grow up and have babies. I think people forget that kids don't see breasts as sexual until they get introduced to the idea as they get older.

Ehh, I don't really have a problem with it, but I wouldn't buy it,. I don't really like "realistic" type baby dolls anyway, like going to the potty dolls and things like that.
Whatev. My goddaughter (2.5) sits next to me on the couch and pretend-nurses her baby dolls while I nurse DD. Perfectly normal for small kids to mimic normal, mundane adult behaviors. I'm just glad she thinks nursing is a normal, mundane adult behavior.
Seems like a dumb purchase, but it doesn't bother me.

This is exactly my thought on it. I have friends who have children a bit older than their babies and they mimic. I obviously see nothing wrong with that or with this doll, but I think $80 for something they're probably going to do anyways is a waste of money.

"A controversial toy doll is set to hit US stores, leaving many parents protesting in extreme anger"
Extreme anger...over a doll? Pussification of America folks!

I don't get why people are upset....
