cereal before or after bottle?

Just curious, did you do rice cereal before or after their bottle, and do you do it immediately before or after or wait awhile?

Since we just started, I do it mid-bottle.  They're not SUPER hungry that the cereal frustrates them but they're still hungry enough that they want it.

When we started cereal we would do a bottle at 7 or 7:30 and cereal around 9.  Even now we feed a bottle first than food an hour or 2 later.  Right now bm or foumula are their main source of nutrition per our pedi.

When we first started we did it before the bottle..Well that lasted like 1 day with Timmie..He LOVES his bottle..So now Timmie takes him bottle and then right after eats cereal and Wesley eats cereal and then right after takes his bottle..

Do cereal after the bottle. Solid feedings should not replace calories from formula/bm.  Wait a little after finishing a bottle to try solids.

I only feed them solids once a day, but I usually do it about an hour or two after a bottle.  They are good and hungry then.  If I do it immediately before a bottle, they are pissed because they just want their bottle.  If I do it right after, then they aren't hungry.

Have you started formula yet?  I know you were nervous about starting...
