I thought this article/report (link) was quite interesting, especially given the BabyStory post the other day.
Something that stuck out to me was that in Wayne Co. Mi 50-60 infants die a year and yet the article notes: "In Wayne County, it's been four years since they last signed out a death as SIDS. And that's true elsewhere, too."
I think we as a group sometimes assume that people know to keep cribs free of things that pose a suffocation risk like stuffed animals and blankets, sadly it seems that's not the case.
