Bronzing baby shoes

Is anyone planning on bronzing their LO's shoes?

 

I am.  I'm ordering some leather walking shoes from Etsy and when she outgrows them I'll get them bronzed.  I'm excited because I always used to be fascinated with my bronzed baby shoes growing up and I think it's a great keepsake.

My mom did this with ours.  But no, I won't be. To be honest, I can't imagine the shoes now-a-days looking good bronzed.  The ones they did 37 yrs ago were true walkers.  I have no intention on buying those, as they aren't recommended walkers anymore. 

eta: maybe you found soft soled handmade walkers on etsy????

Yeah, they're the soft soled ones.  They're very simple shoes so I think they should look fine bronzed.

Yeah, they're the soft soled ones.  They're very simple shoes so I think they should look fine bronzed.

I ordered the white sandals.  I haven't gotten them yet so I can't give an opinion on their quality yet, but oh my lawd, they're all so stinkin' cute.  And cheaper than pedipeds too.
