Weighing pros & cons suck!!! (NIFVR)

I'm trying to decide if I should leave my job and go back into court reporting.  I mean, I was a court reporter for a few years and right now I'm a legal secretary.  I left court reporting because at the time I wasn't married and that's when I developed my blood clots in my lung and I didn't have insurance.

But now, I'm married, I'm already on my husband's medical insurance and I'm thinking that when/if we have children, the flexibility of the job would be awesome and I could be home with my child for a huge majority of the time.  But it's also difficult for me to decide because at first I won't be making a huge salary at all. And I'm worried that I've been out of the game so long that I won't be able to make any connections with any agencies...I mean, I will be practicing and getting my speed back up until at least Christmas or January and then I would try and jump in after that...

After all of that...WWYD?
