Is there some sort of kids laptop?

I'm not a fan of handheld games per se, but my kids love to play on my laptop. Is there some sort of device that is kind of like a little kids laptop that has educational type stuff on it? I'm starting my Christmas shopping and think if something like this exists, my kids would really like it.

My MIL bought my girls a netbook (cheapest we could find).

Sophia has an itouch and she uses it as much as we'll let her. we download games onto it for her. she loves the thing!

DD has a barbie laptop.  Both her and DS enjoy it.    He has a Vtech laptop my brother and SIL got, but he prefers hers.

A netbook is probably the way to go, especially if you can find a refurbed one at a computer retailer.
