stupid question: how do I update my sig?

It has been so long since I have updated or had anything in my siggy. I clicked on my username and it takes me to where I can select "edit my avatar & sig" but when I put something in the signature box there it is not showing up. Am I missing something?

Ok, nevermind! It is there now.
