? about staining & elementals

So my stash consists of all bg elementals and one lonely grovia :) my question is- when I wash my dipes they come out clean but are always ALWAYS stained. I do the pre cold wash, hot wash on heavy duty/extra rinse with detergent (Nellie's all natural) and then another cold wash. My LO is EBF and the stains always sun out... it just sucks on days that I cant put the dipes outside & my DH freaks out bc he thinks they aren't clean :) haha. But is this typical?? For those of you that use elementals do you always have stains? I have noticed that my one lonly grovia hardly ever has a stain. Just wondering if I'm missing a step or something when washing... TIA!

Re: ? about staining & elementals

  • Organic cottons stains more easily than synthetic fibers. My elementals always still have some staining post-washing. My GroVia's do the same thing- I usually end up using a stay dry doubler to help prevent the poop from getting on the actually AIO.

Thanks for the info!! Sorry for the potentially stupid ? (i'm still new at this ;) ) but what is a stay dry doubler??...
