Need Yarn Help

Okay, so the next few weeks I am hoping to get enough tips from work to be able to purchase yarn and hopefully get a skirty or longies made.

Is this good yarn?  Because I like a few of the colorways they have... https://www.morehousefarm.com/KnittingEssentials/Yarn/2-Ply/Variegated/

Also, I am looking for a Packer type colorway - Green and Yellow fading back and forth... because plain green and yellow stripes would be boring.

It's a sportweight which is a little on the light side (I prefer a worsted weight), but could probably work. I don't know that yarn, but I love handspun from a farm like that.

I googled around for GBP colorways. This blog talks about this seller (new name). Or this one. I would also assume you could find shops that do custom colorways, and could make a request.

Not really. If I had the choice between the 2 I'd go with sportweight.

BTW their 3-strand variegated is worsted weight, if any of those colorways speak to you.
