Our pedi gave us the all clear to take DD in a pool. I'm trying to find swim diapers for a newborn size (6-9lbs), but all the ones I see at the store start at 16 pounds.
Any suggestions on where I can find smaller swim diapers?
Check out kellys closet. If they don't have a swim diaper to fit a NB you can get a pocket diaper and not use the insert (happy hienys has one designed for NBs).
I think I've seen smaller sized waterproof washable bottoms at meijer (like Walmart/Target) but I haven't hunted them down since we don't have a pool. The sposie ones just prevent a #2 escape. They pee right thru them. They coordinate to the mid sizes so start at size 3 diapers = small I believe. DD1 was a fall baby so I had no issues as she could wear the small her first summer. But you're right I don't know wtf I'll do if I want to let this LO in a pool this summer.
