Thanks for your advice--update

Hello Ladies,

A couple of weeks ago I posted about my OB's lukewarm response to my birth plan. I called the office after your and my DH's encouragement and asked to switch to the midwife on staff. DH and I met with her today for the first time, and I am so happy! She went over our entire birth plan, and was so supportive of all my options. She doesn't induce until you go past 42 weeks, doesn't do episiotomies, and her C-section rate is 8%. She even lent me a book and gave me the name of a doula! I'm so glad I made the switch.
