What is everyone wearing to their baby shower?

The below post with the cute dress and accessories got me thinking about what I'm going to wear.  I'm trying to find a cute dress, so far nothing is really jumping out at me except for dresses that seem to be $100+, I'd rather not spend that much if I don't have to.  What is everyone else wearing? (if you've picked your outfit out already)

That is a very good question and my shower is almost in 2 weeks lol. Something tells me I will probably just end up wearing the maternity dress that I wore once to a graduation.

I haven't picked out an outfit because my shower isn't until mid-August, however, I know that I will be wearing a maxi-dress of some sort.

I was starting to think about this. I was originally thinking about a cute dress that I have, but I think I might want pants so when I am opening presents I don't have to worry about giving the guests a sneak peak!

I have a pre-pg leopard dress thats pretty stretchy so if I can fit into that, thats what im wearing...

I personally am going to wear nice capris and a fluttery girly top to mine. I've been to far too many baby showers where mom was wearing a dress as she opened presents and everyone saw up her dress. It is hard to maintain modesty when trying to maneuver to open gifts and whatnot. Nobody wants to see my kid crowning...

Our shower isn't until the end of August.  I'm hoping to find a nice little empire waist dress to wear.  I guess I'll have to wait and see what fits!

With my son, i wore white capris w/ a tube top type dressy shirt that had removable straps.  It was outside and hot so it was comfortable.

I would second this!  I have seen the photos from my niece's baby shower where I was sitting next to her writing down all the gifts (while wearing a knee length dress), and the angle of the person taking all the photos was just right that you can see WAY too much of my thighs in EVERY photo.   It will be a maxi dress or some cute pants for me.

Ha, whatever fits!  Or whatever MIL buys me, b/c she loves buying me maternity clothes and I personally can't stand spending the money on them!

Mine is in September so I'm waiting to see what the weather is like. If it's not too hot I'd like to wear the top I made when I was pregnant with DD. I'm very proud of it. If not, I have a couple mat dresses to choose from. I never wear them and I need to get some use out of them.

OH CRAP I hadnt even thought about this! It just dawned on me yesterday that the bridesmaid dress I was going to wear to my SIL wedding isn't goint to work (she replaced me anyways once my standing time got limited) -- maybe ill find something that works for both?

My shower is kind of casual and i have a very odd sense of humor.
