We can only get him to take one bottle with out fighting it which is the night one (6-8oz depending on the day). Virtually all the other ones he won't take. The ladies at daycare have been putting his formula in a sippy cup which he takes but not as much as he should. He still has a big appetite and will eat anything you put in front of him which has never changed. He does drink water from a sippy cup at meals and we offer it at home whenever we are out. or playing.
At 11 months how much formula does he really need? Would it be horrible if we start phasing it out and only offer it at bedtime?
He's 25lbs and has been at that weight for 4-5 months, he's huge!!! He's crawling like a mad man and walking behind one of those push toys.
Re: Jack is weaning himself from the bottle and formula :(.
The pedi isn't worried that he hasn't gained any weight since he had so much to spare. Keep in mind he was 6 months old and 24lbs. That's huge!
