Bottle with milk or sippy?

DS gets a morning bottle, a nap bottle and a bedtime bottle. When we transition to whole milk do we keep the bottle? OR does it have to be in a sippy cup?

Re: Bottle with milk or sippy?

  • You can do whatever you want.  We'll be using the cup for milk when we transition to help break the habit of a bottle.

  • Loading the player...
  • DS still gets his milk in a bottle when he goes to bed, but all other feeding are from a sippy. Eventually we will phase out the bottle.

  • You can do either.  The earlier you can lose the bottle the better because it only gets harder as they get older, but you will figure out what works best for you.  We have gotten rid of the bottles and switched to sippys, but it wasn't difficult since DD rarely got a bottle anyway (I am still BFing).
  • You can do whatever you want, but I'd personally rather make the switch all at once.
