New Job deets :)

Okay, now that I've been offered the job I'm comfortable telling y'all about it. 

So the job posting was for someone to import online orders for an internet gift based business and help with the call center.  Okay to work from home but need to be in the Augusta area.  I figured there was no harm in seeing what it was about.

I get an email from the guy and his email address is blahblah@cheesecakes.com

CHEESECAKES.COM  that's the online gift business.  Freaking cheesecakes, are you kidding me? That is may absolute favorite. ever.  So of course I was super curious what it was going to be about.  I ended up meeting with the guy and we totally hit it off and while we were talking it came out that I like to cook or whatever and he showed me where he has just signed on with Kraft Foods for their Real Women of Philadelphia promotion to make these cooking demo videos of how to make cheesecakes using Kraft recipes.  So I might either (a) end up being the one in the video or probably more likely test out the different Kraft recipes that they send in to him to see which ones get picked. 

And the other coolest part is they already have a few houses in Atlanta picked out to shoot the cooking demo videos and one of them is Big Pappa's house from the RH of Atl.  Like the gaudy assed $20MILLION house on Paces Ferry.  I'd pretty much pay someone else just to let me walk through it, much less cook in that kitchen!

Thanks ladies! I'm so excited to see what it turns into.  Even if I don't end up getting to be hands on w/ the demos and cooking I still think it's pretty cool to be somewhat involved in that industry.  I don't remember if I've ever told y'all but I actually got a scholarship out of High School to go to culinary school at Johnson and Wales in Charleston.  I ended up not going because I knew I didn't want to make a career out of being a chef or ever work restaurant hours.  Slightly narrow minded decision, right?  I don't know why no one grabbed me by the collar and said "You are an idiot, you have a scholarship to go to college, in Charleston.  Freaking GO!  You can change your major next year."
