Is it possible to confuse contractions with baby movement?

I've been having bad cramps for about two hours and the pain seems to be the worst when the baby is moving. Could it just be from the baby's movement or could it be contractions? Thoughts.

Sometimes baby movement mimicks BH for me. When she moves in a certain way across my uterus, it feels like it is tightening. 

The main tell tale sign of contractions is that they come and go, get more intense each time, and are timeable.
