I think they are good diapers for the right price. I have a pretty plain one we use for nighttime. It was $11. I wouldn't pay over $20 for one but they are good diapers.

I had Sbish Magic diapers and a few GMs. The Sbish were more absorbant, but the GMs were softer (of course, cuter). I think I like OBV better than the bamboo fleece used in the Sbish because it seems to stay softer and more flexible. The GM bubble burst recently, so there are more diapers availabe at more reasonable prices than in the last few months.
I have used GoodMamas (never had a new one) and I like them and they are absorbant but nothing compared to my used BuBu Bebes. I jsut bought another GoodMama today on spots so obviously I like them - for the right price. I wouldn't (personally) pay more than $15 for one. I know they often go for $30 and have even seen some for $75 or $80 but I think those days are over!
Also, they jsut wouldn't do it for us for overnight. I just got a GoodMama GoodNight which I think is supposed to be their most absorbant and we put it on her last night. DH had to change her at 1:30 (so 5.5 hours) and it was drenched and had soaked all the way through her wool soaker. With B4 she can go through the night and while the wool will be wet, she won't have soakded through.
So good diapers, better for day, not worth the inflated prices you sometimes see.
History of IF and 2.5 years TTC. The day we were to start our first IUI we received a call that changed our lives forever and 10 month old Olivia joined our family. Shortly thereafter we got a surprise BFP and baby 2 is due July 5, 2012
Obviously, value is in the eye of the beholder, so take my review with that in mind.
I love the ones we have, they are squishy soft and pretty absorbent. They will definitely not last overnight (unless you have a goodnight, which work very well for us when paired with wool) but the CVs seem to hold loads. My DS can be in a solid CV for around 2 hours with no cover and no leaks. My main reason for liking them is the fit, they fit my tall and thin DS very well.
GMs make up the majority of my fitted stash. I love the way they fit A. They are trim and we are able to go coverless at home for a long stretch of time. I know there's been a lot of drama about them, but I like them.

All of this. They are the ones that work best for my heavy wetter.

FYI: A GN needs to be prepped at least three times (I think) to have anywhere near it's full absorbency capability.
I have a few but I find I reach for pockets more often. I plan on selling mine once the GM boom comes back (hopefully).
