I posted the other day asking for recc's on training info for the teachers and staff at DD's school (where I also work).
The principal gave me the freedom to select a training program and was very much on board with the whole idea. Our next teacher inservice day will focus on Food Allergies (yay!) and we're going to be using the FAAN's Safe @ School Training Program.
I don't know why I am so giddy over this, but I am. I am so glad that they didn't hem-haw over the suggestion, and will feel so much better about DD being there everyday knowing that every teacher in the school is trained on how to care for and respond to children with FAs.
